Overview

Sales analysis provides summary statistical information, including quantities, sales and costs to help you spot trends as they are developing. This information is available by Company, Customer Category, Customer, Ship-To, Sales Rep., Product Code, Part Number, and Warehouse to help focus your sales and marketing efforts.

Features

Reports
The Customer Report prints sales by customer, product code within customer, and part number within product code with current period compared to the same period last year and current year-to-date compared to prior year to date.

The Product Report prints quantities for each period of the current year by part number and customer within part number.

The Sales Code Report prints sales and quantities by sales code, customer within sales code, product code within customer, and part number with product code with the current period compared to the same period last year and current year-to-date compared to prior year-to-date.

The Twelve Month Sales Code Report prints sales with gross margin percent for each period of the current year and last year with a period-by-period variance. This report is printed by sales code and customer in sales code sequence.

Charts
Charts are available to display the sales data graphically. Company, Customer, Customer Category, Product Code, Sales Code, Warehouse, Part Number, and Customer Ship-To charts can be created. For each of these, the following standard charts are available in either 2-D or 3D format:

  • This year sales versus last year
  • This year cost versus last year
  • This year quantity versus last year
  • This year sales versus cost
  • This year sales and units
  • This year cost and units
  • Last year sales and cost
  • Last year sales and units
  • Last year cost and units

Commissions
Commissions can be calculated based on a percentage of the entire invoice or the percentage can vary on each line of the invoice. The commission percentage can be split into as many as ten sales codes and can be paid at time of sale or based on cash receipts.

Sales Taxes
Sales taxes by state, county, and local taxing authorities can be calculated at time of invoice and reported to the appropriate taxing body.
